The One Where Twilight Fangirls Over Solo, Part 3

Let’s see… I’ve poured out my fangirly thoughts on HanXQi’ra and a handful of the new characters… what shall I talk about next? Yeah I really wish I’d gotten the chance to watch Solo again so I could stir up more discussion topics, but time has not been my friend lately. That’s why I’ve decided this will be the last post in this particular series. It won’t be the last time I talk about Solo for sure, but I think it’ll be time to shift gears from here. Anyway, how about I just fill the post with some assorted fangirl musings? Sounds good? Then let’s go!

Contains spoilers from Solo and some important elements from The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels. Also, please remember I have only seen the film once at this point, so there is a chance I may have misremembered some elements.

As I’ve discussed heavily in the last two posts, Solo was absolutely loaded with surprises. It’s one of my favorite things about the film! And among my favorite surprises were the Easter eggs and the nods to other Star Wars stories. I’m sure I missed a few, but the ones I picked up on had me smilin’! Glee Anselm, Scarif, Bossk, Aurra Sing! I knew those names! It made my Star Wars-nerdy self explode with glee! Especially with things that nodded back to the Prequels and animated series. I’m not clear if The Pikes they mentioned had any relation to the ones in TCW, but either way, it’s something special seeing elements from all ends of the SW galaxy come together like this. I mean, actually getting to see Glee Anselm for the first time was a treat for me. And though I feel bad for whatever went down with Beckett vs. Aurra, it sounds like there’s a good story there, anyway. Oh, and funny story: you know that set of ancient Mandalorian armor in Dryden Vos’s office? I spent like five minutes staring at it thinking there was someone in the suit, asking myself “Boba Fett? Is that you…?” XD It’s all these little things that just fill me with joy and remind me of the supreme storytelling skills going on at Lucasfilm!

And speaking of surprises, I feel bad I didn’t end up writing on Enfys Nest last post. Once again, these new characters go so far beyond their appearances and first impressions! Of course, that’s true for the majority of SW characters, old and new alike. But I certainly did not expect the nefarious-looking Enfys Nest to be a young girl Rebel! There’s a lot we still don’t know about her, but she’s obviously an epic heroine and I think there could be some epic novels and comics about her to follow. And hopefully I’ll have much more to write on her then 🙂

And you know how I wrote on my Last Jedi post about how every Star Wars something has that one moment that you never forget your reaction to? With Solo, that scene is the one near the end where we meet Qi’ra’s real boss. The exact sound I made was a loud, choking gasp with a slight squee mixed in. True, in part, this was because I briefly forgot where in the SW timeline the film takes place, and my first reaction was “BUT MAUL IS DEAD!!“. But then I remembered this all took place some years before Rebels, and I then geeked out over his appearance for the rest of the day. I can only imagine how confusing and fascinating it must be for those who haven’t been keeping up with the animated series. If you happen to be one of those people, go right now to Netflix and watch some Clone Wars! I recommend maybe some early season one and two episodes first, just to get acquainted, and then go over to season four and start with Nightsisters and then keep going from there. And once you’ve finished that, grab a few early episodes of Rebels on DisneyNow or iTunes or something and then come back to the Maul story with Twilight Of The Apprentice. If this all sounds complicated to you, just watch all the episodes of both shows, period. You won’t be sorry, I don’t think! 😀 Then you’ll have at least a little idea of what’s going on here.
Anyway, back on the subject. It was too amazing to hear Sam Witwer’s voice and see Ray Park’s face again in Star Wars. Maul just looks truly magnificent and as terrifying as ever! And with this small scene, they opened up an entire new angle to the former Darth’s story that I absolutely need to know more about! And like with the smaller Easter eggs, seeing this amazing story that was fleshed out in the animated series having a pretty huge connection to the events in this film… wow. There are no words. And it wasn’t just a this-would-be-really-cool cameo! This seems to be a major part of Qi’ra’s next chapter! And Maul’s too, as he continues on his tireless quest for power and purpose. You guys, this is one of the reasons I love Star Wars so much. It’s a big, big galaxy, but nothing is there without real thought and consideration.

So with that being said, there are still so many reasons to love Solo and Star Wars in general! What the next post will be about, I don’t yet know, but I look forward to sharing something with you sometime next week!

TIM Recap: Rule Of Thirty-Two

It’s that time of year again, friends…. the This Is Madness Star Wars Character Tournament is in full swing! It’s a lot of fun to participate in something of this sort since basketball’s not in my wheelhouse, but it’s not without difficulty. I mean, picking favorites is not one of my strong suits, especially when I love all the SW characters! Last year I chronicled all my votes on tumblr, but for this year, I’ve decided to recap all of my votes here, since some of my explanations can get pretty wordy 🙂 So without further ado, my votes for the Rule Of 32! And remember, I love all these guys equally, really, so if you don’t agree with my vote, just remember we’re really on the same page still.
NOTE: Contains spoilers from Episode I, Episode III, Episode IV, Episode VI, TCW episodes The Mandalore Plot, Sphere Of Influence, Nightsisters, Wookiee Hunt, Brothers, Revival, the “D-Squad” story arc, Shades Of Reason, The Lawless, Voices, Rebels episodes Spark Of Rebellion, Droids In Distress, Idiot’s Array, and Fire Across The Galaxy.

DAY ONE: HERA VS. LEIA/INQUISITOR VS. GRIEVOUS.

I was super-excited for TIM this year because this year the Rebels would get to join in! But I guess I never thought as to what it’d be like to have to choose between amazing heroes from the SW films and these new amazing heroes from Rebels. Usually, my method is to choose the hero based on their amount of impact on the SW Galaxy or on the other character. But dang… it’s a lot harder than it looks!
For Rebels, I ended up choosing Leia. In all technicality, Hera’s probably made a teensy bit more impact, as she’s technically Leia’s boss in this situation. But man… I just couldn’t go up against “her worship”! I suppose a lot of it’s because we’ve seen how awesome Leia commands her fellow Rebels through some of the biggest events in SW history. And she’s Anakin and Padme’s daughter and Luke’s sister so that also gave her a bit of a leg up. Leia won, which doesn’t surprise me, and I bet Hera’s proud of her 🙂
For Bad Guys, I ended up giving the vote to The ‘Quiz here. I was a little surprised in some ways that Grievous won. My method for Dark Side votes usually is on account of who’s the badder, but in a way it just seems like I’m oftentimes picking the “cooler” of the two. Now yeah there’s no doubt Grievous is a lean, mean, lightsaber-slashing machine, and I’ve certainly voted for him a good bit in the past two tournaments. Considering how absolutely in-your-face nasty the General is, you’d think he’dve had my vote. But The Inquisitor… he’s got class! He’s just as menacing, even without two less ‘sabers on hand, and he does it all with this seriously chilling flair! I think there’s something to be said for the way he does things as versus Grievous… a quiet evil that isn’t always so quietly evil. Ah well, somehow that came out an underdog vote, but no hard feelings to the General.

DAY TWO: QUI-GON VS. YODA/JANGO VS. GREEDO
TIM Picks: Qui-Gon & Jango Fett
So obviously I’m a terrible human being because every year without fail I keep voting against Yoda on the first round. It’s not that I don’t love Yoda, guys, it’s just they keep pitting him against Qui-Gon or Obi-Wan and I can’t vote against them somehow! It’s useless to resist! But hey, let’s give Qui-Gon some credit here, I mean, he did totally uncover the Force-spirit stuff before Yoda did! So if Yoda shows up in the Sequel Trilogy (and the fact he already did show up in Episode VI), he’s got no one to thank but Master Jinn, the rebel Jedi 🙂 If more people used my methods to vote he might win one of these, but ah well. Maybe next year?
For Bounty Hunters… it’s almost unfair to pit Greedo against a Mando! Even if that Mando doesn’t do too well ultimately! But yeah, even knowing some of Greedo’s adventures prior to Episode IV in The Clone Wars, this guy still doesn’t really hold a candle to Jango in terms of badness, and in some ways coolness (ahh don’t hurt me Greedo fans!! *ducks under desk*). I’d really like to see some of these guys more equally matched in years to come. Perhaps Jango versus Pre Vizsla? That’d be interesting…

DAY THREE: HAN VS. LANDO/MAUL VS. PALPATINE
TIM Picks: Han & Maul
Another year, another win for Captain Solo! I keep feeling bad for Lando and thinking “maybe next year”, but it never happens! Ugh Han’s just one of those characters I can’t vote against! He’s just so amazing! He’s one of the most epic of epic heroes! Here’s a tip, Lando… if you want my vote next year, send me a puffer pig and complement my art. You’ll have it in the bag for sure then 🙂
As for the Sith… yeah another vote for coolness over badness, because dude in the game of evil Darth Sidious here always wins! Even then, Maul’s still quite the terrifying, absolutely nasty guy. He started out so quietly evil and then blossomed into a revenge-seeking, robot-legged crazy man. You could almost say he’s at equals with Sidious, but well… the Emperor did completely pwn him. But not in this battle, no sir! Sorry Sidious but he’s still cooler than you 😛 *Gets hit by Force lightning*

DAY FOUR: REX VS. GREGOR/HONDO VS. VIZSLA

You’re probably thinking I have something against Captain Rex since I seem to vote for every other clone over him. But look, Rex is easily everyone’s favorite clone, and I feel like these other brothas deserve some love, too. Gregor was so brave! He put aside his dead-end job on an even more so dead-end planet to save Colonel Gascon and the droids! He gave up his life to help them succeed in their mission! If that isn’t brave, I don’t know what is. C’mon won’t anyone else give him some love? Yes I know Rex is great and I’ll always love him but there’s no “I” in “The 501st”! (Unless, of course, you spell it out but not the point)
And yeah another underdog vote went to Hondo Ohnaka, and it definitely was on account of who’s the better person. Hondo’s a pretty decent fellow, despite he’s a pirate and may or may not cause you trouble depending on who’s paying him more. But darn it I love pirates! And his sense of wit! And really everything else about him! Pre Vizsla can’t help but be cool, of course, since he’s a Mando, but I’m often surprised he has as many friends as he does… ’cause he sure packs a lot of attitude! That moment in The Mandalore Plot when he throws the word “failure” at his fellow soldier and shoots him without even looking always stands out to me. He is one bad dude, for sure. So bad that I really couldn’t not give it to Hondo. And may I also mention that Hondo took on Darth Maul and lived? Can’t really say that for Pre, now can we?

DAY FIVE: R2-D2 VS. SABINE/TARKIN VS. PIETT
TIM Picks: R2-D2 & Tarkin
This was one of the hardest votes for me. Not the Tarkin vs. Piett thing, that was way too easy, considering I have trouble remembering Piett’s name half the time and how terrifying Tarkin truly is. But man… choosing between Artoo and Sabine was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. Because Sabine is just so awesome, and you know how I’ve used the excuse to vote for Qui-Gon because he’s my SW Myers-Briggs twin? Sabine is technically now my Rebels twin! So a part of me still wonders if I should’ve given her the vote. But that little droid’s done a lot in life! He’s been around since day one and will continue even into the new trilogy! And he even played his part in Rebels, giving Sabine the suggestion to overload those blasters as a weapon! It was mostly that last bit that got me to vote for Artoo. That, and he’s just so stinkin’ adorable! Ladies and gentlemen, another character I can’t vote against, R2-D2!

DAY SIX: AHSOKA VS. OBI-WAN/BOBA VS. VENTRESS
TIM Picks: Obi-Wan & Ventress
Boy this was a hard one on both sides. I mean, obviously I knew from the get-go I’d probably end up giving Master Kenobi the vote, since I can’t humanly vote against him. But it hasn’t been long since Ahsoka waltzed back into the SW Universe and made me love her even more! So I had to rationalize it on the account that Obi-Wan trained Anakin who trained Ahsoka. It’s not so much on a level of who made the greater impact, because Ahsoka heading up the Rebel Alliance and Obi-Wan getting Luke involved with the Rebels to start with are both extremely important. But eh that’s how it goes in the TIM tournament! Next year will be your year, Ahsoka… next year!
Now as for the bounty hunters out here… this one was incredibly hard. Because Boba’s a shoo-in, right? He’s everyone’s favorite bounty hunter! (Except for the Dengar minority) And every year I’ve voted for him, because of course he’s just that cool and just that awesome. But Ventress… ugh she’s really really grown on me these past few years. She was already a super-cool Sith-y sort, but then she went and became a bounty hunter and has proved to actually have a heart. And darn it if there’s one thing I can’t vote against, it’s a scoundrel who’s not so scoundrel-y after all! And my inability to vote against her will increase once I read Dark Disciple. So yeah I am sorry, fellow Fett fans, I have let you down. But at least he won the vote and will likely get my vote in the next round!

DAY SEVEN: CHEWBACCA VS. ZEB/VADER VS. DOOKU
TIM Picks: Chewbacca & Darth Vader
OK you know what’s just as hard as choosing between Sabine and Artoo? It’s choosing between Zeb and Chewie. I never would’ve expected it’d be this hard to pick between movie characters and Rebels characters! I mean, they’re both epic and all kinds of awesome and know how to handle bucketheads, but how do you choose between them?? HOW I SAY?! Well, if they could’ve arm-wrestled it might’ve helped me pick, but honestly I have no clue how that’d go down. If perhaps Chewbacca had been among the Wookiees Zeb helped rescue I might’ve given it to our favorite Honor Guard. But then it occurred to me that Chewie helped save Ahsoka, who in turn grew up and played a major part in the Rebellion that Zeb is currently a big part of himself. So there Chewbacca wins! Zeb wasn’t too happy about that, but he went and thrashed a few ‘troopers and he feels better now.
As for the Sith… um… yeah, Darth Vader couldn’t not win. Dooku’s pretty nasty himself but seriously… against Vader? No contest. We’ve all seen Episode III, it doesn’t end well for the Count. And plus, Vader’s just awesome period.

DAY EIGHT: PADME VS. JAR JAR/JABBA VS. FORTUNA
TIM Picks: Padme & Jabba
Honestly, at first, I couldn’t believe they would actually put Jar Jar into the tournament. I mean, I love him, but I’m not sure I can say the same for the majority. And really, I wanted to vote for Padme, because she’s strong, clever, smart, and fabulous, and because of the kinda big deal role she plays in the SW Galaxy as Luke and Leia’s mom. I wasn’t going to vote for Jar Jar just because I wasn’t sure anyone else would, that wouldn’t be fair. I have reasons when I vote for underdogs! But then… well, the sound you heard was the sound of all those who filled out brackets ahead of time crying. Jar Jar’s actually got the majority of the vote! Talk about an upset! So either he has a larger fanbase and less people hating on him now or else a bunch of people just wanted to throw off what everyone expected. But hey, I’m happy for ya Representative Binks! You go win this thang!! And again, in the battle of the baddies, Jabba always wins as versus his lackeys. Though it was nice to see Bib’s face in the ring this time around instead of Salacious Crumb 🙂

So there you have it guys, it’s been some awesome first round of This Is Madness, hasn’t it? I’ll keep you updated as each round continues!

Attack Of The Jedi: A Closer Look

What a treat to get the finale for Lego’s The Yoda Chronicles right before Thanksgiving and the Christmas Season! Thank the maker we didn’t have to wait a whole three months like last time. All the same, it was worth the wait and a fantastic final chapter for this great series! So now, why don’t we get started and join me on my commentary and thoughts on Attack Of The Jedi!
NOTE: Contains spoilers from Attack Of The Jedi, Menace Of The Sith, The Phantom Clone, Episode I, Episode II, Episode III, Episode V, Episode VI, The Ewok Adventures Films, Various Ewoks Episodes, and TCW Episodes Duel Of The Droids, Landing At Point Rain, Weapons Factory, Legacy Of Terror, Brain Invaders, and Nightsisters.

First of all, let’s give the Tom Kane narrator guy a round of applause; the guy just read a sentence that hardly made any sense. And his honest response “…I have no idea what I just read. Let’s just say that the bad guys are losing.” is said without missing a beat. OMG I’m sorry that’s too funny…
So the story opens up on a battle on Geonosis with Yoda, Artoo, Threepio, Anakin, Obi-Wan, and the crackerjack team of younglings taking on the Sith and Separatists once again, and ultimately winning. Of course, the fact they’re on Geonosis again gets me thinking… didn’t Obi-Wan, in the TCW Season 2 episode Landing At Port Rain, tell Cody that the upcoming battle would be the second time they’d had to take Geonosis? And Obi-Wan was all “I can’t believe we’re back here again… *frowny face*”. Well, I take it that he’s never exactly thrilled to hang out on that buggy planet, and who would be? My theory is simple: the Geonosis four-parter was a lot harder than this three-minute battle, so I suppose it only counted as taking Geonosis twice. What we’re seeing in the beginning of this escapade is more like a skirmish. And I think we tend to forget that, you know, Geonosis is a planet, not a country. There could easily be a small battle going on in one part while the whole “brain worm” debacle would be coming up elsewhere before long. I guess that makes sense… let’s just go with it, ‘k?
So yeah, the good guys were compeletely pwning the Clone Wars. Funny to think that there was a time in the earlier days of the war when victory was so common, the Senate became a dance floor. Of course, this is Lego SW, which tends to be on the lighter side versus TCW itself when it was sort of a victory-loss-victory-loss sort of pattern on a regular basis (one of these days I ought to try and keep score). And when you think of the fact that in their latest battle, the Jedi just whupped Dooku, Ventress, Grievous, Maul (yuuuupp he’s still hanging around…), and an entire droid army! In ONE LITTLE SKIRMISH. What’s up with that? The fearsome foursome, known for their insane evilness and killing tons of good folks, are forced to abandon ship when Yoda and his gang show up! Wow… but I guess if we’re talking early in the Clone Wars era, Ventress and Grievous are still rookies in the Sith game, and for pete’s sake, Dooku and Maul aren’t too great at evil planning. So I suppose that makes sense. But yeah, Palpatine’s putting on his fake smile on the regular as he makes note of the Republic’s latest win. Also: could this be one of the most interesting Senate meetings ever? Not necessarily because of what was being discussed, but because of Lando Calrissian Sr. and a Basic-speaking wampa with a British-y accent, both reppin’ their planets XD The wampa totally caught me off-guard and got me laughing for ten minutes after the joke was over!
So just as Palpatine stops the pre-party party at his words of “caution”, Commander Cody has made a very interesting discovery: the fearsome foursome are all on Mustafar! And the Jedi are like “BOOM! We got this in the bag!” and are off to what they assume to be their newest victory. Of course, Palpatine just heard all of this and has a chance to surprise attack the Jedi’s surprise attack… >:)
Why exactly are all the baddies in one place? Because after deciding that Sith clones weren’t the way to go, they decided they need to fight fire with fire… or in this case Padawans with… “Bad-awans”.
They figured they needed their own crackerjack team of adventurous kids to help them win! I found this concept quite fascinating; whenever we’ve seen Sith apprentices, they tend to be on the older side. Mostly because, I guess, Force-sensitive people have a choice between sides, and the Jedi just happen to be better at getting to these kids first. Ventress and Dooku were both ex-Jedi, Savage Opress kinda got pulled into it without much choice (not that he’s really Force-sensitive, I don’t think…), Grievous and Maul? Who knows. Soooo… my questions are where on earth (figuratively speaking) did they find this class of Sith Padawans? And the evil little astromech? (Goldie isn’t the only one, I guess…) Perhaps they were all delinquent Jedi students? The kids that all got a “clouded future” report from Yoda? Frankly, I’m scared to ask about the droid. But yeah, they come off pretty cool at first, but the fact that these kids turn on their new masters pretty quickly… well, as far as Dooku and his gang are concerned, that makes them not so cool. THE TWI’LEK GIRL INSULTED MAUL’S LIGHTSABER WHAT THE HECK?! You have to have a seeeeeeriously awful attitude and a serious lack of fear (not to mention a serious lack of respect) to be able to make fun of who is arguably the most terrifying of these second-banana Sith! Perhaps the reason the Sith don’t have younglings is because the kids are literally meaner and harder to control than young adults. The Sith’s little team has a nice lineup of “knights”, a bunch of tough-beans Badawans, and a quirky little darkside droid… all they need is their wise old leader, their “Yoda” shall we say, Darth Sidious, and they will be truly fighting fire with fire!
Buuuut Sidious? He’s sitting in a cockpit crammed in with Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Threepio. His plan was going awesome and he was just swaggering out of his office singing “I AM SO GONNA WIN, GONNA WIN, GONNA WIN…!” to the tune of The Imperial March when he had to switch back to his faux friendly persona at the sight of Master Kenobi and Young Skywalker. So yeah, they naturally wanted to join up and protect him, and it’s all awkwardness and surpressed rage from Palpatine for the rest of the ride. Oh, and that awkward moment when Grievous showed up outside the shuttle window. BWAAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAAA! XD
Though in all seriousness, a part of me sits and watches this and screams “HOW CAN YOU NOT SEE THIS, GUYS?! THE TRAGEDY YOU COULD’VE AVOIDED!!” But you’ve got to love the irony and humor of Palpatine’s little “identity crisis” throughout The Yoda Chronicles all the same.
But yeah, naturally, to cover up for Grievous showing up claiming he’s a fellow employee, Palpatine commenced a chase scene and had the entire fleet head after him. Whiiiiiich naturally led to an asteroid field and basically, the entire armada of good guys got creamed and stranded on an asteroid. I must not neglect to mention how fun it is to watch Anakin and Obi-Wan fighting over how to put the pieces of their fleet back together 🙂 Annnnnyway… with the Jedi Temple Bus/Battleship the only thing left standing, the Padawans know just who could help our Republic friends… JEK-14, the “Phantom Clone”.
So currently, JEK is hanging out on Endor, helping out the ewoks. Makes sense in retrospect. I admit I questioned both Naboo and Mandalore, but certainly they’ve had their share of scuffles. Aside from the ferocious beasts, witches, and the occasional crashed ship, Endor’s probably on the top ten list of the most peaceful SW-sian locales. Oh yeah… and the traps. *Sighs* Ackbar tried to tell you… XD
Though anyone else wonder how it is a guy in clone armor managed to befriend the ewoks when in a couple decades they’d go and beat the crud out of guys in very similar armor? Food for thought.
So once again, a bunch of Jedi come to the doorstep of a pacifist sort and ask for a helping hand and well… you know… the pacifist’s all “no way, no how, forget it.” And that’s still how JEK-14 feels right now. I mean, helping fix up the ewoks’ home is more his game right now, and clearly he still wants nothing to do with the Jedi and Sith sides of him. Usually in these scenarios, you send in The Negotiator, or another peaceful sort… but today, the Jedi send in Bobby. If the Jedi are trained in charm, it’s doesn’t surprise me, especially when Bobby’s sweet little puppy dog eyes pretty much turn around JEK’s final answer just like that. “All right, but only because you asked nicely and smiled.” Also: do you guys really think that Yoda looks weird when he smiles? I don’t think that!
So while JEK joined the Jedi to help piece together their fleet, Palpatine got left on Endor with Threepio and all the happy little ewoks. I can’t help but laugh at how his day is slowly becoming the WORST. DAY. EVER. X)
Meanwhile, in a glorious show of the Force at its finest, JEK-14 puts the fleet back together in the form of a huge, amazing ship (that for whatever reason reminds me of The Axiom in WALL-E…). And it’s in this scene that we see once again Anakin and Luke’s crazy resemblance when he’s all “I don’t believe it.” and JEK is all “And that is why you fail.” Sooo one of Yoda’s most soul-stirring quotes was borrowed from someone else? Ehhhh it’s best not to think about it… anyway, with their new ship, the good guys headed out to Mustafar sending their kind-hearted farewells JEK-14’s way. In that moment, JEK starts to have a change of heart, and right on cue with many of these hard-headed peaceful-y sorts, he now decides to do more to help his Jedi friends.
So as for Palpatine? After having taken more than enough ewok singing and dancing, he pretty much cracks, fakes an ewok allergy, and makes a dash to JEK’s ship, leaving Threepio behind, wondering what just happened. Of course, this doesn’t work well in the future Emperor’s favor, because Grievous once again shows up at the worst possible moment and thinks that it’s JEK-14 in the cockpit… and yeah, he kinda blew it up. Palpatine was not happy. AT. ALL. But at least he finally made it to Mustafar and was able to kick those Badawans into gear… right as the good guys showed up. From then on out, the battle is kinda crazy as the Chancellor “helps” one side and the Emperor helps the other. Just when it seemed the Jedi had lost, JEK-14 shows up on his hastily-constructed little Lego speeder-thingy. And he ulimately fries the baddies, especially considering what Dooku and Grievous put him through last time around. Yes, it’s REVENGE OF THE JEK-I! #terriblepunalert
In the end, the Republic is victorious once more, having themselves a Calrissian-style dance party. Well, Palpatine is still hanging around playing his nice old man card, but for now, we don’t need to worry about that. Except perhaps for the fact that he gave a friendly pat on the back to Anakin, who’d been a bit of a sourpuss at JEK getting all the glory…
“…I think you’re a great Jedi.”
“Thanks. And you’re a good man.”
“And you are an excellent judge of character…”
Whoop, here we goez.
As for JEK, who knows what his future holds? Here’s hoping it’s going to involve a generally peaceful lifestyle that won’t end in some manner of SW-sian tragedy. Perhaps a job making Legos 🙂
And then there’s Threepio. He’s stuck going out of his circuits while the ewoks sing their little song instead of helping him out of yet another trap (well, they think he’s a god, remember? They probably thought he could get himself out!) Hahahaha. XD
So what a fantastic series we’ve had to enjoy this year! Exciting, funny, heartfelt, and all-around fantastic! So until another Lego special rolls around, I’ll still be looking for more to chat about in the Star Wars Universe!
